One head is opaque, with a colorful ocean scene; the other head is clear, allowing you to see the beads move against the backdrop of the ocean scene. Mallet not included - instead, gently rotate or swirl the drum to produce ocean sounds. One of a series of instruments developed in conjunction with Lynn Kleiner for early childhood use. Mallet NOT included. For ages 2 and up.
